Once your 3 steps are complete your paper is now a part of your Omni system where it is easily accessed by all users.

In addition to saving to individual patient accounts, the user has the ability to save daily, weekly, monthly or yearly sets of documents your Office's database. Documents such as Patient Encounter Sheets, Production Reports, Invoices, Charts, Letters....Whatever paper that you currently pile up and box away can be added to your Omni system with only 3 steps!

              Many offices today use multifunctional Fax-Scanner-Printers- centrally located in their office. These devices allow users to easily add documents to their computer or to a shared folder located in the office's network. With Omni's Document Management, this simple task allows the user to add these documents directly into their Omni Database.

Any Omni user with a connection to a scanner can add documents to the Omni system. Once scanning is completed Omni displays the total number of documents scanned giving the user the choice to scan more, finish or create another batch.

Add Existing Documents

In addition to scanning documents into your current Omni database, your office can purchase the conversion tool that will allow you to import many different files into Omni. Microsoft Word files, Microsoft Excel files JPG files, Adobe Documents, BMP files......can be copied and pasted into Omni's Pending Document folder to be transformed into an image. Once Omni converts the file, the image is assigned to its final destination where it is available to ALL omni users for review, e-fax, e-mail and/or print.

    Example: An office member that keeps track of dictation files downloaded from an offsite company has a set of Microsoft Word documents that are saved locally and backed up on her system in specific folders on her pc. Whenever anyone needs a copy they have to send this user a request and she has to either print or email a copy. With the ability to import Word documents into Omni, the user could simply copy the entire folder or individual files and paste them into Omni's pending document folder where an image is created of the original document. This image is now available for any Omni user to review, print, e-fax or e-mail. The user still stores the original documents as usual, but with this additional step, everyone has quick access!
